Our reason to be
The Haitian Foundation for Social Assistance, Inc. (FHAS, Inc) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to accomplish a well-defined, articulated mission for education, promotion of spiritual values, motivation, emergency preparation against catastrophes, welfare services and spread valuable social information throughout the world, and to provide ideas to other nonprofit organizations to define and resume their help and promote their own visions.
We believe that our strategy eventually will help to relieve some of the most prominent problems in
Our Philosophy
FHAS, Inc. thinks that common people have to act together to represent common interests. We want to spread important, viable relief to the masses, with a special focus on children. We want to gently push any complacent citizens out of complacency by informing them of relevant social facts and encouraging them to take suggested actions.
There are millions of suffering people that can readily benefit from your participation in collective action. We often try to ignore this fact but it's of no use. While getting involved may be a challenge, the combined good faith efforts of the masses will in fact create major, relevant social improvements worldwide. The sooner the better.
FHAS, Inc. does not seek to push any particular subject or action on you but merely encourages you to study and act on the issues you care about. Our purposes explain the basics of many important issues and contain relevant and credible information to edify everyone about what is happening in
Future generations depend on the proper decisions and actions of the current generation. If you have or plan to have children (or nieces and nephews) you cannot afford to not act for their sake. While suffering certainly encompasses issues like hunger, crime, disease, poverty, and refugees, it is also significantly affected by legal, economic, environmental and other issues that FHAS seeks to point out.
FHAS approach is to invite organizations and people all over the world who believe common citizens working in harmony can and will make a remarkable difference.
